# Face Match and Demographic Verification

The face match and demographic verification process involves confirming the user's identity through checks of their submitted documents and IDs. Liveness detection is performed to ensure the user is physically present during the photo capture. Demographic information is then verified against authoritative sources and a face match is performed to strengthen the security of the digital signature issuance process and ensure accuracy of the user's information.

**Face Match**

Our face match check involves comparing the user's live photo with the one on the government-issued ID to verify that the person undergoing the verification process is indeed the same person as the one on the ID. This helps prevent fraud and impersonation, ensuring that the digital signature issued is secure and legitimate.

**Demographic Verification**

The accuracy of user information is critical in the digital signature issuance process, which is why our process includes demographic verification. Demographic verification adds an extra layer of protection to the identity verification and digital signature issuance process. \
This step verifies the user's personal information, such as name, NIK number, date of birth, and address, by cross-referencing it with authoritative sources. This helps to ensure that the information provided is up-to-date and matches the information on the user's government-issued ID.\
\
**Manual Review Process**

In cases where the automatic approval threshold is not met, our team of agents conduct a thorough manual review of the verification process. This additional layer of check ensures the highest level of accuracy and security in the issuance of digital signatures.

During the manual review process, our agents verify the identity of the user by cross-referencing the provided information with authoritative sources. This includes verifying the user's personal details such as name, NIK number, date of birth, and address, against the corresponding data on their government-issued ID.

For partners who wish to be notified when manual verification is completed, Web hooks can be configured to receive the verification status once the manual review process is finished.
