# Color Flash

**VIDA Liveness with Color Flash** is a passive liveness detection solution that uses a sequence of color flashes on the screen to verify a real human presence. The user simply looks at the screen—no gestures or movements required. The system analyzes how colors reflect off the user's face to detect signs of life and resist spoofing.

Color Flash is VIDA's **next-generation active liveness technology** that verifies real human presence by detecting and blocking DeepFakes photos or videos. Through a simple interaction — the screen flashes a sequence of colors — the user just needs to look at it.

### Why It’s Needed
