# API V2

## Overview

The Liveness V2 API is VIDA's original Liveness Get Result API. It returns `scoreName` values that differ depending on the liveness type used in a transaction — Basic/Active Liveness returns `LIVENESS` and `IMAGE_MANIPULATION`, while Smart Liveness (Color Flash) returns `passiveLiveness`, `colorCaptcha`, and `imageManipulation`.

v2 remains **frozen and fully supported** — it will continue to return the same response format going forward, with no breaking changes planned. Clients already integrated with v2 do not need to take any action.
