# API Reference

The VIDA Identity Liveness API provides the following set of APIs to verify if the submitted selfie is real or hacked.

## Authentication

In order to make API requests, partners need to include an "authorization header" in each request they make. This header should contain a unique "bearer access token", which serves as a form of authentication.

The partner can check the Authentication API section for the API request details.

## Liveness Check

To verify if the submitted selfie is real or hacked with the liveness API.
