Getting Started
This guide walks through integrating the VIDA Liveness SDK into your Android application — adding the repository and SDK dependency, configuring your activation key, and setting up the liveness request. If your account uses ID Fraud Shield, the additional steps are called out along the way.
Liveness Integration
Follow the steps to integrate liveness checks into your Android application, from creating the detector through running detection and releasing resources.
Configuration Parameters
The LivenessDetectionBuilder class lets you customize the liveness detection process. You build a VidaLivenessDetector by passing the calling activity and a configured VidaLivenessRequest , which carries the required and optional parameters described below.
Customization
The VIDA SDK offers powerful tools for customizing the user interface of your application. You can modify colors, text, and other visual elements to align with your brand's identity and improve user experience. There are 3 main ways to achieve UI customization:
Customization through XML
Modify predefined keys in your application's style configuration to customize specific UI elements.
Customization through API
Programmatically set UI configurations using the VIDA SDK API.
Customization Strings
To customize the language, simply add the required string keys to your configuration.
Change Logs
This document logs all modifications made to the Liveness Android SDK, keeping our partners informed of the most recent version.
