# User Journey

### Identity Verification Invitation Email

* The partner initiates an eKYC request, providing the user's email, address, phone number, and other personal details.
* If the user's phone number and email address are valid, and the `govid` (NIK) is verified, a `kycEventid` is generated and an email is sent to the user to start the eKYC process.

### Consent and Information (Optional )

The user is presented with an consent screen to read information and give consent to share their details with VIDA for identity verification.&#x20;

### OTP Authentication (Optional)

* The user is presented with an OTP Verification page where they need to enter the OTP sent to their phone for authentication.

The user should read the information on this page, and should click continue, before initiating the demographic check, liveness check, and face-match checks.

### Demographic Details Verification

* The user is presented with a page displaying their demographic details.
* If the demographic details are already verified, the user cannot modify them and can only review the details.
* If the full name or date of birth verification fails, the user can re-enter the correct details.
* The user has a maximum of 2 attempts to correct the demographic details.

### Selfie Capture and Verification

* The partner includes all demographic details of the user in the eKYC request.
* If the user's demographic details are successfully verified, they cannot make any modifications. They can only review the field details and proceed by clicking "Continue."
* During the demographic check, if the user's full name or date of birth verification fails, they have the option to re-enter the correct details and click "Continue."
* The user is allowed a maximum of 2 attempts to correct the demographic details and submit them.
* If the user has modified any details and clicks "Continue," the provided details are sent for verification to authoritative sources.
* Once the user's demographic details are verified, they will be directed to the Selfie Capture page.

Note: The Selfie Capture page is presented to the user only after the successful verification of their demographic details.

### PIN Setup (Optional)

The user is presented with pin setup screen to set up a PIN as a fallback for face-authentication.

### Identity Verification Status Display( Optional)

The user is presented with a screen displaying the submitted eKYC status.
