OCR & Document Verification V2

We provide two API endpoints for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and IDV (Identity Verification):

1. Full Details Endpoint - (/verify)

2. Summary Endpoint - (/verify/summary)

Key Differences

Both endpoints offer the same processing accuracy, but they differ in the level of detail provided in the response.

1. Full Details Endpoint

• This endpoint provides a comprehensive response with detailed insights into the verification process.

• The response includes:

  • Performed checks

  • Confidence scores for each check

  • Warnings for checks breaching thresholds

  • Errors for failed checks

• Ideal for clients who require in-depth insights and want to make custom decisions based on the verification data.

2. Summary Endpoint

• This endpoint provides a simplified response with a high-level decision on whether the document is accepted or rejected.

• The response includes:

  • Boolean values (Success/Failure) for verification

  • OCR-extracted values

  • Errors, if any

• No scores, warnings, or detailed breakdowns are included.

• Suitable for clients who prefer a concise and easy-to-integrate response structure.

• Easier to maintain, as new checks and updates are less likes to impact the response format.

By offering these 2 endpoints, we ensure flexibility for different client needs—whether they require granular insights or a straightforward verification result.
