# Create Envelope

The envelope object is the core container in a Vida Sign transaction, managing documents, sender details, recipient information, and tracking for the signing process. 

* **Contains the Documents to be Signed**
  * Contains one or more documents that are uploaded and prepared for signature.
* **Sender Information**
  * Holds details about the sender initiating the transaction
* **Recipient Information**
  * Includes comprehensive details about each recipient involved in the signing process, such as:
    * **Recipient Name** and **Email Address**
  * Supports multiple recipients with custom workflows, including signing order.
* **Status Tracking**
  * Provides real-time status updates for the envelope, allowing both sender and recipients to track the signing journey.
