# DirectSign API

## **Overview**

VIDA’s DirectSign API is a web and app-embedded signing solution designed for enterprise clients requiring secure and compliant digital signature capabilities. 

The DirectSign API allows for:

* **Embedded Digital Signature Services**: Enables businesses to seamlessly integrate secure signing into their web or mobile applications.
* **Enhanced User Authentication**: Ensures the identity of users with multiple authentication layers, protecting against unauthorized access.
* **Long-Lived Certificate Issuance**: The system uses digital certificates that are valid over an extended period, enhancing trust and regulatory compliance.
