# Product Overview

The **VIDA Identity Stack** is divided into key sub-products organized around three use cases which include **Account Opening**, **Login**, and **Account Activity.** This ensures businesses can handle identity management comprehensively, from onboarding to monitoring user interactions over time.\

The stack simplifies key stages of the customer journey such as sign-up, secure login, and lifecycle management, while also providing robust fraud detection capabilities.

### **Identity Proofing – Onboarding and Sign-Up**

This focuses on verifying user identity during the onboarding process, ensuring that new customers are legitimate and trustworthy.&#x20;

The stack offers several tools to streamline and secure the sign-up:

* **OCR (Optical Character Recognition)**: Extracts data from ID documents to automate form filling and verification.
* **KYC (Know Your Customer)**: Complies with legal regulations to ensure thorough identity proofing of users.
* **Document Verification**: Confirms the authenticity of user-submitted documents.
* **Liveness Verification**: Ensures the person submitting the documents is physically present and not using fraudulent media.
* **FaceMatch**: Matches the user's face against the provided document to verify their identity.

### **Authentication – Login and Account Activity**

Ensuring that only authorized users can access their accounts, VIDA stack supports secure login mechanisms, protecting businesses from unauthorized access:
