Peer to Peer (P2P) Lending

Peer-to-Peer Lending Platform - Use Cases

VIDA enables secure, compliant onboarding and transaction flows for P2P lending platforms. From identity verification and income assessment to e-signed agreements and real-time fraud monitoring, each step ensures trust and safety for both borrowers and lenders.

Customer Onboarding & KYC

  • The borrower or lender signs up on the P2P lending platform.

  • The platform collects identity documents and government-issued ID.

  • OCR extracts data from the uploaded ID for automatic data entry.

  • KYC validation verifies the authenticity of the identity and ensures regulatory compliance.

Liveness Detection & FaceMatch

  • The user is prompted to take a selfie for identity verification.

  • Liveness Detection ensures the user is physically present and not using a spoofed photo or video.

  • FaceMatch compares the selfie with the photo on the ID to confirm the identity.

Financial Risk Assessment & Income Verification

  • Borrowers are asked to provide proof of income and bank details.

  • Income Verification tools analyze and validate income sources and consistency.

  • Document Validation ensures the authenticity of income-related documents.

  • Once a borrower-lender match is made, the platform generates a loan agreement.

  • e-Meterai is used to digitally sign and stamp the agreement with legal binding.

  • This ensures clear consent and legally compliant loan initiation.

Login & Account Activity Security

  • Device Authentication ensures account access is only allowed from verified devices.

  • This safeguards access and prevents account takeover.

Fraud Detection & Account Monitoring

  • The system monitors unusual borrower or lender behavior for fraud.

  • Liveness Detection may be re-initiated for sensitive actions or high-value disbursements.

AML-CTF Checks

  • AML-CTF checks identify fraudulent transactions.

  • Continuous fraud detection monitors suspicious activity in real-time.

  • If a transaction is flagged, the system prompts additional verification or temporarily blocks the transaction for review.
