# Biometric (Device, Selfie ID)

VIDA’s biometric authentication framework combines combines device binding, facial recognition, and liveness detection to ensure secure and frictionless user verification. It establishes a strong link between the user’s identity and their personal device by leveraging cryptographic keys stored securely in the device's hardware. Facial data is captured and verified with advanced liveness detection to confirm real-time presence and prevent spoofing.

This integrated approach ensures that only the legitimate user, on their registered device can authenticate or authorise sensitive transactions. It provides high assurance of user presence, identity match, and device ownership, making it ideal for secure onboarding, login, and transaction verification across regulated and high-risk environments.
